During the holidays, our students have been actively involved in various sports to stay healthy and build teamwork. Football matches, basketball practice, and swimming sessions have kept them physically fit and full of energy. Ping-pong tournaments have also brought out great enthusiasm, allowing learners to develop focus and coordination while having fun. These games are not just for exercise but also for building confidence, leadership, and sportsmanship among children. Coaches and volunteers have been guiding sessions safely while encouraging participation.
The school organized creative sessions to keep young minds engaged during the holidays. Children explored storytelling, drawing, and music, using their talents to express ideas and emotions. Learning kits were shared with parents to support home-based reading and writing activities. Special virtual story hours allowed learners to stay connected with their teachers. These moments helped strengthen language and critical thinking skills, while also keeping the holiday spirit alive. At École Mère du Verbe, learning never stops—even during the break!
Holiday time is also an opportunity to deepen spiritual and moral values. Families were encouraged to spend time together in prayer, reflection, and community service. The school shared weekly messages focused on kindness, sharing, and gratitude, helping students to live the values they learn in class. A few students participated in church-led holiday programs and small charity projects, spreading joy to others. These actions help reinforce the heart of our mission: growing children who are not only smart, but compassionate and faithful too.
